- פּוֹרָנִיתf. (preced. art.) supply of bread, sustenance (cmp. פַּרְנָסָה). Gen. R. s. 67 (read:) פּוֹרָנִיתְךָ אפויהוכ׳ thy sustenance is baked for thee everywhere, v. אָפָה; Yalk. ib. 115 פורניותו אפוי (corr. acc.).
